D22 YD25. The Boost controller is the ball and spring type. I will look into fitting a EGT Guage fitted as well.

Ok Have installed the ECU, and the Boost controller. I took it for a spin this morning and I don't know but I was getting more than 20psi with only a couple of clicks on the valve open. Am I doing something wrong, even with the valve closed I am still getting 15-16 PSI. The gauge I am using...

What's the stage 2 change? I have ordered a Boost Tee valve and boost gauge. The gauge will only be used to get the required boost pressure, then taken out. Where did you mount the Boost Tee valve?

That was the first thing I did was block off the EGR, and when I got the motor YD25 sent a blanking plate for the EGR at the Valve mounting face to the intake manifold.

As I am now towing a caravan I wonder if a remap of the ECU would benefit me. Border Automotive Engineering and Tuning | Remapped ECU Specialists D22 Remap and exchange. Anyone had one of these and are they worth the effort.

You might be lucky to get away with just the replacement Head. if the bottom chain has broke then all sorts of damage would have ensued. Hopefully no holes in the pistons. Bent valves or broken cam shafts will be the worse I would think.

No complete rebuild by YD25. They take another engine, rebuild and they take some parts from your and then send it back to you, The cost for me to have someone do it was prohibitive. Some blokes have been quoted 15K to do the job. I just took my time. I was lucky I have an engineering shop...

All up around 7K with the new radiator, and clutch. Bought gaskets that I didn't need to as they came with the engine (Water pump, injector seals, rocker cover etc) The motor came from YD25.com.au.

Happened to me, broke both cams at no 2 cylinder, Broke the cam plate as well. Ended up putting in a new engine.

After all that the CPS connector had a bad connection. And due to the CPS error the turbo does not kick in. So answered my question.
