I remove my Black edition Sports bar , there is a connection for the two pin plug near the front of the Left hand rear wheel, the cable has to be fed through the tray at the upper L/H top corner very tight might need a draw string to pull it through ,

Are you talking about a Towbar. Because there is a plug near the spare wheel for that connection?

I found it easier to just buy a Provent 200 kits that has all the attachments included for my D23 but looks like there is only a few for the D22

Try using a jumper lead between the contact points if it works. That means it’s the switch that’s not working

Looks like you have traveled many dusty roads , Have you changed your Air filter and fuel filter ?

The extension bar is only sitting on the chassis rail ,there is no pulling only the spin of the engine ,

As i no longer own a D21 or a D22 I'm offering these service manuals to the best offer ,As I'm on the Gold Coast i would prefer someone to pick them up , but will post at buyers expense

How is the motor turning over if you have it in park or in First or reverse ?

I installed one of these ,it will show all the information you need just plugs into you OBI port
