having owned both a 3.0L and 2.5L diesel I'd stay with 3.0L or bigger if you want a diesel more low end torque, like my ZD30 can pull off in second gear, so could the YD25 nav I had but it would almost stall it, the ZD30 just shrugs it off like "you'll have to do better than that to stall me..."...

I'd be wary of buying anything from chipit at the moment, some guys posted in the rant section a few weeks ago how they have been waiting months for their chips and have got some pretty ordinary service.

Plenty of dual cabs that you can probably pick up for that sort of money give or take a few thousand like the bravo/bt50, ranger, colorado/rodeo, hilux, sangyong (lol) as well as the D40 anyway to get you started heres a nice v6 D40 with mods for $20000 in brisbane...

you can but why would you want to? wasn't the point of a 3" lift to get 3" of lift for the front? dropping the diff down means you mose well just run like a 2-2.5" lift.

@ the OP how the hell do you drift a D22 anyway, can't even get mine to spin the wheels let alone drift around corners (yes in the rain).

shouldn't be to lean, they puff alot of smoke, like my ZD30 I never see any black smoke out of it but all my YD25's have smoked alot which means to much fuel/not enough air.

to answer the OP's question, yes expect your coils to sag, OME suspension is mediocre at best these days and a google search will show you how bad their coils are for sagging.
