Does anyone know if the timing chain and other mechanical problems that the earlier yd25 models had have been fixed with the new d22s ?

2013 d22 egr blank Hey, does anyone know if the ecu will be triggered or a check engine light will come on if I blank the egr on my 2013 2.5cr d22? And if I only have to blank it on the drivers side? Thanks.
