    I have had maybe 5-6 cars break traction on the dyno. All of them up around 800-900hp...... Its not breaking traction, and if that log is of that run it shows TPS @ 100% the whole run. When you lift your foot off the throttle for even 1/10th of a second that power will be in the negative...

    Making an adaptor of new manifold to suit the new turbo will be almost as expensive as the new turbo I would imagine. Sizing... Well, 2860 is going to be to big... Honestly. So look down from there.

    Lol yes unfortunately. Considering all the other vehicles in the Navara class run 15-17PSI... Thats why the Niss is moving to the Renault V6, it just has no more development left in the YD series motor. Toyota will get another 5-6 Years out of its current gen motor before moving on for example...

    Run to much fuel and to much boost. Thats why there is a huge hole in the power graph. The standard ecu is pulling the fueling back due to excessive temp/boost etc... Probably why it makes more power on the second run without the cut. Let the car cool right down and the ecu wont pull the...

I did throw an exhaust and injector+pressure plugin chip on our intercooler test vehicle after I was done on the intercooler testing. Found the results pretty average to be honest as the motor is already tuned up higher...

    Thats not loss of traction. That is either the ecu pulling fuel due to overtemp or some form of cut. Would be interesting to see air fuel ratio's and boost graphs if any of the shops provided you with this important info guys?

    I think most people stay away from the ebay stuff in 4x4's. I see alot of the performance guys doing it (with the same results) There is just no reliability and quality control with them. Sure one person might buy one and get 200,000km's out of it. But the next one off the production run wont...

    exhaust system for d40 2.5 diesel

    You can do it but there is no point changing the dump pipe. Below is the test I ran between 2.5" - Standard dump pipe with hi-flow cat And Full 3" system including dump pipe and hi-flow cat. Big difference hey ;)

    The best and safest bet would be to have it run on the dyno and measure the boost and AFR. Each car is different, and each is used for different purposes... so what works for one owner will not for another. For the $100-200 you would be charged for a dyno run with full data print outs its not...

    Ah ok then. Just doing the intercooler and exhaust is a great first step, but doesnt give the power gains most people would hope for :) Substantially lowers EGT and AFR though which is good. Throwing some tuning into the mix does bring the old ZD30's to life though.

    Alot of exhaust shops that put high performance cats in systems dont actually realise that a petrol cat, and a diesel cat are two different animals. Petrol cat wont work at all in a diesel... Diesel cat will melt in a petrol in no time...
