I havnt done one in my Nav but in my Patrol I used a jack and done one side then the other. You wont want to be jerking it around much. A jack is a nice controlled way to do it I recon.

This is a pic of my truck with 15x7 cruiser offset rims and only 31x10.5 tyres. Would stick out a bit far with decent sized tyres on.

I'm with you Matt76 about their offroad driving ability's. He obviously had his foot on the clutch for the wheels to lock down that slope. They drive 4wd's like they are on a track in a Porsche.

Fair enough. I'll stand corrected. Ive read a 1000 times in various posts on various forums that it is 50mm in NSW. When calling around the other day for prices on new tyres I was told by 2 tyre shops that it is 50mm over diameter as I was asking for 285x75x16.

I doubt anyone would replace the oil filter without first dropping the oil. If the engine oil hadn't been replaced since the early 90's I doubt it would still go hard. Diffs, gearbox ect I could believe.

In NSW its 50mm. I don't much like being told what to do anyway. My ZD30 has had no issues in the last 110k of having to slip the clutch to take off.

MTZ's in 285x75x16 are recommended for 7" wide rims.

I agree with Pro-Nav that $3000 wont get you much of a GQ Patrol. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
