My 06 hasn't failed at 250,000 used various brands.

I took out the muffler left the rest original,economy .5 litre better,louder if you put a window down,down side ... slightly turbo noise if you give it heaps then back off. Same result with 06 and 14 models.

Did you find the problem ?

The 06 has done 30 km in the last 3 months,still around the 250,000 mark.the new one done 12,000 km in 6 weeks.

I have a problem with mine,battery discharged - came home to hear clicking under bonnet,had to open manually the passenger door to get in . Disconnected the battery and charged,reconnected and made a few clicks and buzzing noises and the warning lights where all on - without the key in the...

Started to fit out the series 7 like the series 1, it will be a few months and over 10 grand in extras to get it there but won't be as high, this one is just a tow truck.

I couldn't sit in one for too long, the seating isn't that good compaired to to a d40,but the seats in my 06 are better than the 14.

dont be surprised if its like the patrol release and wait years longer than first said for a disappointment.

The bose sound, sat nav and reverse camera are standard on the current series no extra cost . The new model will have a sloping new pathy front i was told today . We spent the last week looking around for a new vehicle drove all others and not the Navara and bought another one.

I've had one on the 40 since October 06 happy with its performance. My 17 yo daughter complained when I turned it off on her. When another started flogging there's a few years later I offered to fit one for a real daily test to back the claim there's is better with no reply.

update on this, contacted the supplier and sent the stuffed one back. they didnt go along the never happened/must have fitted wrong, 3 others in the batch have failed.checked out and refunded the replacement alternator and 2 nights accommodation .cant beat that for customer service.

i got back from a 9000km trip with the van to a recall, they where suprised that it wasnt totally stuff for the towing i have done. new bar coming up,

i had hd for 5 years/220,000km and went medium, hd will crack inner guard,around bolts on gaurds etc. over time.great for corrigated dirt at speed for hours, but not much else.wish i went m earlier or so start with.

Well you can see when I replaced mine November last year , it seized Monday distroying the shaft. Wouldn't be a problem normally but I was between port Augusta and ceduna at the time towing our van. Not impressed.
