Deal or No Deal? What deal did you get on your NP300?

There will be in a few months along with the extra cab.

    Rear indicator issue

What style plugs do you guy's run over there Flat or Round? Pin 3 is the earth (white) and pin 4 is the righthand indicator (green) and on a round plug they are normally beside each other so that could be where your short is. But if you run a flat plug then pin 3 & 4 are nowhere near each...

    Willal Exhaust and Tune

I had a different problem with mine. I plugged mine in and the engine wouldn't even start it just kept turning over. I sent Martin an email and he came straight back to me saying they had just realised there is an issue with screws that had hold the end on the unit being to long and stopping...

    NP300 First Impressions?

Good to see the speedo is a bit closer to the mark unlike the D40. MY D40 is 8kph out but the D23 is only 3kph out according to GPS.

So I take it even though Ironman have a listing for the NP300 rear springs they don't have them made yet?

Does the D23 have a Diesel Particulate Filter?

It's a low cell item (unlike the old ones) and will not clog up and because the CAT runs hot there is no need to heat it with extra burning or fuel like the old ones. I suspect of the current D23 only the European models may get a dedicated DPF with the switch at this stage. Our ones may get it...

Does the D23 have a Diesel Particulate Filter?

It does but not in the sense of the 07-11 D40's. It's part of the CAT. Down the track they will get DPF's more like the older D40's and the spare switch panel in between the heated seat switches on the center console (STX) will be filled with a switch to do a manual burn so it doesn't run into...

    Willal Exhaust and Tune

I might fit mine if I get time but have to change the ball joints in my D40 to get that back on the road first as I'm still using that for work at this stage. As for being underwhelmed by the power that's a big call if you ask me. The power is still there and it is just as good as the D40 but...

    Frustrated

Gee your having a bad run! It can only get better hopefully. I'll be interested to know what the ute weighs in at and also to know if you have uprated the rear springs. I'm going to be using mine as a work hack shortly and are in two minds as to weather or not I need to get some heavier...

    Headlight globe retaining clip

I had to change a bulb in my D40 today. The clips need to be pushed towards the lens and then spread apart. It's easier to do this one end at a time. I found the bottom one came off easy but the top one was a bit more stubbon. Once they are unhooked from the retaining lip they then pivot...

    NP300 First Impressions?

My dealer did this as part of the PD.

    Willal Exhaust and Tune

I have ordered one of these setups for my NP300 too. I have used both fuel rail and injector chips in the past without problems on my D40's although I to would have prefered the chip to plug into the injectors rather than the fuel rail I did some research and discovered that the engine that the...

    NP300 Fuel Economy

The owners manual says not to tow for at least 800km but as said above if you don't labour it to much it should be fine.

If you get stuck I have some in NZ that I can land on your door for $65au each 5-8 day air freight delivery or $95au 2-4 day express courier.

    Hello, and D40 issues

The light you asked about (<1>) comes on when you have a trailer connected and you switch on the indicator. Is there a loose or damaged wire in the BCM? When I put foglights on my first D40 I tried to get away without the correct stalk by putting a switch into the 2 foglight control wires in...

    wiring diagram

If none of the airbags or seat belt pretensioners have been deployed check the fuse. The fuse is a 10 amp (no 13) in the cabin fuse box in the passengers side footwell. The main sensor for the ABS is located beneath the hand brake.

    Lower ball joint

Both my front lower ball joints have excessive play in them and need replacing. I had a bit of a search but came up empty so are going to ask the question. Do I need to remove the hub from the driveshaft to get enough clearance to remove the lower arm or is there enough room to remove it...

    NP300 First Impressions?

Tonba you asked what I paid for mine. Well over here in NZ the NP300 STX auto Retails for NZ$64,995 + ORC ($62,995 for manual). My auto with towbar and wiring package, tuff deck liner, canopy, nudge bar, bonnet stone guard and rubber floor mats cost me $59,000 on the road.

    NP300 First Impressions?

There was a service advice update for dealers to change a bracket on the NP300 but it came out before the ute's had landed in the country so it's not a recall as the ute's hadn't made it the market. As for the power it doesn't feel as powerful as stated above but it is a lot smoother and feels...
