    CEM additives

There's been talk about their products on various forums and from what I've read all positive. Whether u used it and notice a change would probably depend on the condition of your engine..... if your engine was in good condition, u may not notice any difference..... Plenty have though....

Good secluded camping sites max 7 hours from briabane

Yeah.... I don't reckon my D22 would have gotten to the places I wanted to go.... plus, that's why I've a Zook for these sort of trips. Perfect for tight enclosed tracks and + I'm not too worried about pinstriping......

Good secluded camping sites max 7 hours from briabane

Mate, if u want remote, then head on down to Sundown NP down near Stanthorpe.... Just came back from there yesterday. Great spot; remote camping; some great 4wdriving; wild deer; Kangaroos; wild goats, etc. It is remote and there is no real amenities but for some drop toilets at burrows...

Just gave my new Garmin Montana 650T a workout down at Sundown NP.... Best of everything that suits me.... d22 towing

It's on take off and more so inclines that are the issue and I still believe it comes down to gearing. Mines fine once u are moving. It's the 1st gear ratio all the modern 4wd's these days thats the issue imo..... It's all well and good having these high load rating tow vehicles, but it doesn't...

    Mahindra ute!

I reckon it s ok as well.... It's one of those vehicles that u buy 2nd hand as the depreciation from new would be fairly high.... For a knock-a-bout vehicle it would be pretty good

    Harsh ride

This is interesting.... I've got std tyres (255/70/16) on mine & mines very rough, etc when it hits potholes, etc. I'm wanting to go up to 265/75/16 as the bigger tyres will handle / soak up the bumps better than smaller tyres (tyre pressure depending) Look at your suspension and leave your...

    Steering specialists

I know it's a bit far but Caboolture Steering Specialists are the "only" ones I trust with my cars..... I gladly travel the 30>40mins to get there. He was trained back when it was classed as a Trade and u did an apprenticeship in it. He's trained in the old schools way, doesn't just set your...

d22 common issues and solving them

So, there's no real way of stopping this knocking noise when offroading? I know it's not a good choice, but is it worth adjusting the steering stops inwards to their limits for that "extra" little of clearance as mine seems to knock way b4 full lock.....

d22 common issues and solving them

I use Penrite Full Synthetic engine oil and change it every 10k. When I recently changed it, the oil still looked pretty good. Rub it on your fingers and the oil doesn't leave any black sooty stuff on your fingers.... The Front suspension (Torsion Bars) on these D22's isn't something I really...

    Air Locker Group Buy

I went down to have a chat to Clint at Harts Transmissions. He's done a bit of work for me and comes highly recommended and has dealt with various brands of lockers. I asked for installation costs (drive in / drive out) & he said $495. That would make it $650 to buy; $50 postage; $500 install =...

    Air Locker Group Buy

x2...... I've got some recent household bills in the mail too.... + when I add the potential cost of $650 +$50P&H to Brissie, then maybe installation cost of $200 approx, totalling $900. I might have to delay it for awhile or go for the cheaper option of an Auto locker when the time & money is...
