Metal Clunking noise in front Suspension

The age is unknown as OME shocks were already on there when I bought the car.... As far as when the sound happens, it's a bit hard to say..... Shocks topping/bottoming out is the only the other thing that I can think of but would be very surprised if thats it due to the limitation of travel...

Metal Clunking noise in front Suspension

Guys..... Just after some advice here..... when I was out bush the other day, I noticed when I was going up dirt roads that have the hump across the road to prevent erosion, that when I go over these humps and the suspension dropped down/up I noticed a clunking type of sound coming from the...

    (SEQ) Moore-Linville-Kilkivan (Chimney) Day-trip.... 500kms in Total

The rims are 17" Prado Steel Rims and the Tyres are 265/70/17 Federal Couragia M/T's. They work out to be exactly the same size as your 265/75/16 tyres. 5.16% difference in the speedo reading too. They are quite noisy on the road as I presume these Utes aren't the best when it comes to sound...

Yeah it was a survey marker.... & Yes the camel did have rope attached, don't know why.... it was in a paddock with other Llamas.... be a bit lonely for him i guess. Because the camel was small in size, from a distance it almost looked like one of the llamas.......

Thought it was time to take my D22 Ute for it's 1st exploring trip + it was definitely time for another Midweek Explore Trip as it had been a while, so I decided to retrace some previous tracks to see if they were still open + find some new tracks..... So along with Dave who just happened to...

Little Exploring in the CedarCk - Waterford area (SEQ)

Yeah, from the little bit I saw, its very much like Glasshouse area on the northside

Little Exploring in the CedarCk - Waterford area (SEQ)

More: My ute with the new Federal Couragia MTs on Prado Steel Rims Drove this section, but unlike my Zook, wheel careful placement was required if I wanted to keep the forward motion going..... Plus the ute needs a bit more of a lift as the front tyres rub and the rear also rub on the rear...

Little Exploring in the CedarCk - Waterford area (SEQ)

Well, I took the ute out for it's 1st "little" explore trip today. I had to pick up something down in the Beenleigh area, so I thought it was a good time to check to see if the tracks that I had been on in my Zook was still open and what condition they were in. This also gave me a chance to lock...

How much FUEL can be USED in the TANK before you RUN OUT?

I think I've mentioned it somewhere b4 but on my old 60's Cruiser, the Aux Tank I had modified to have a small rectangle/bowl section welded to the bottom where the pickup was re-directed. This did 2 things....1. pretty much use 100% of the tank capacity 2. Helped in situations where u were low...

D22 Long Range Fuel Tank Capacity?

WOW... and that's filling it right to the top where u can see the fuel in the inlet? I would have thought it would take slightly more than that.... maybe 130ltrs ?? With the light coming on I would say that is dependant on the fuel lever inside the tank.... Mine comes on anywhere when there's...

D22 Long Range Fuel Tank Capacity?

Even though there's baffles built into them, there's still holes drilled into the baffles to allow the fuel to flow between the different sections..... so, unless the holes are drilled above the bottom of the tank, then the fuel can still flow and having that little fuel over that surface area...
