    d40 faults

The needles flickering could mean a dodgy connection somewhere between battery and ignition circuit. Check battery first. I used to get this occasionally on a previous car due to bad connection on neg terminal. Murph

It is strange. I do not get an option to like the post. I can see who likes it but no option to like it myself. I can however like the Navara links page, just no specific posts. :( I was logged in as well ;) Murph

If it were only a day run I should be able to squeeze it in last weekend of June or first weekend July. That suit anyone? Murph *edit* Just realised the Coolooa beach run is on the last weekend of June so thats one is out.

I have left my D40 parked up for over 3 weeks and she started first time. Sounds like you something is holding on when you switch off the ignition. Have you wired in anything new to the vehicle? Murph

Found some Frontier steering arm boots in the states for $14.99 each. Will get a couple and give them a go. Should be a good fit. If not then at least I have something to bodge and make fit :) Murph Sent from my iPad using Forum Runner

Thanks for the feedback guys. I don't have an alloy spare so will go for 4 tyre rotation for now. Will look at picking up a spare ST-X alloy as well. Murph Sent from my iPad using Forum Runner

    Tyre rotation

Hi guys, I have been wondering if anyone does 5 tyre rotation on their vehicles. I have read the manual and see it only shows 4 tyre rotation, is there a reason for this? I just want to get some use out of my full size spare tyre. Where would I fit it on the rotation cycle? Anyone done this...

Doesn't sound good then. Have found some boots in the UK for around $35 each so will get one and see what it is like. Will also look for a local cv specialist and see what prices are like. Cheers Murph
