finally got intercooler pipe work and 2.5inch exhaust put on, Phat Pipes @ Kallangur did an awsome job, am happy with the results, just waiting on my chip and boost controller to arrive. next mod will be to relocate the pump to other side of engine bay, see if i can find a new air filter...

added my piller pods today with boost gauge and egt gauge

unfortunatly my ute is 2006 and not after, most obdII are usually after 2006, which is why scan gauge is out, im only guessing ultragauge would be the same, but will try and look into it.

just wondering if anyone has any recommendations. im looking for an equivalent to run on my d22 3.0 2006, like a scan gauge, as scan gauge dont produce one for this model, what else is available that will read and clear codes aswell as give readouts from the engine, eg boost, temps fuel? ect

ive been driving round for almost a week with out piping hooked up to see if it makes any difference to engine tempratures. so far the needle hasnt changed, been giving it some long hills flat to the floor and has not made a difference yet. still got atleast another week before pipework gets...

it has been asked earlier this thread, but got no answer, im intrested in doing this mod so i can free up the space for a 2nd battery. but at the same time im adding in a front mount intercooler, has anyone done the 80 series airbox mod who has also done a front mount intercooler? just trying...

im located about 40mins north of brisbane. local performance exhaust shop quoted over the phone, 200-$500 depending on the difficulty, im guessing by looking at it that it will be towards the $500 mark.

im intrested to see where you used the mounts to mount the intercooler on the front, seems im going to have to do some fabricating to get it where it needs to be, already had to cut off center support of the grill as intercooler is too tall to fit under, going to be a very tight squeeze getting...

i was reading on the pradopoint website about some others that have had some average reception on the radio, and i beleive mark has some boosters to add onto the ariel that he was giving out to see if that helped to those with reception problems. might be worth checking into.

just a quick clarification....so if you already have a 2 inch suspension lift, then get approval for a 2 inch body lift and take it for the inspection, this will pass fine? or can you only do one or the other?

nice job on the install, i beleive i recently ordered similar intercooler, it was the upgrade for the xr6 intercooler, they claimed it gave the xr6 a 20kw gain over the standed, so i assumed it would work well in the nav, was going to do pipe work my self but after speaking to the local...
