While the ECU for the ZD30 in the Navara monitors boost pressure via a MAP sensor, the wastegate is not electonically controlled, but rather connected to the outlet side of the turbo via a short hose, so the chip can't modify when the wastegate opens (and hence adjust pressure). Cheers.

The factory setup with the extra pre 'air spinner' or whatever it is meant to do, is as airtight as a flyscreen. The actual airbox though has no drain holes in it, but sometimes a leaky seal around the lid. Most snorkles seem to plumb up straight to the airbox. Cheers.

This might sound silly, but have you checked the gasket around the lid on the airbox? I could feel air at idle pulsing out of mine, and on inspection a part of the gasket was gone, and the rest hard and brittle. I replaced the gasket with some new rubber and now it is air (and water) tight...

Hello, It would be easiest to fit the boost controller on the line from turbo to the wastgate actuator. One line form the boost controller (be it a bleed type or Dawes type) must end up at the actuator anyway. If you are going to use the connector shown, run the gauge off that. I've never used...
