Has anyone checked you fuel pressure ??

My 2011 book seems pretty straight forward what needs replacing .At a guess when they mention timing belt on gasoline engine there talking about the 2.4 frontier which does have timing belt.

Life's too short to drive a diesel.

Jump onto YouTube mate and search - nissan frontier timing chain whine. Compare there noise with yours. I'm a petrol as well and some early vq40's had secondary timing chain issues, hopefully it's not that. And rule out belts and tensioners first as oldTony says.

Yes I haved used the seach box but did no good. Does anyone have or know of a D40 stx duel cab tub liner where the tailgate piece comes over the top lip of the tailgate. All the tub liners I can find are under lip but I'm sure I've seen one that was an under lip liner with a wrap over tailgate...
