Added a 10mm id flat washer to the linkage from the outer door handle....works well now

Hi I want mount a recovery hook at the front of a D21 cab chassis and after a quick check cant find anywhere the holes in a standard recovery hook line up with any holes already in the chassis.......I am of the understanding you cannot drill a chassis so where do or how do you mount a recovery...

So bloody hard to see and get at.....I will try as you have suggested, hopefully it is more simple than it its looks.

Ok so you nearly had to rip the door handle off to get the door to open so I thought replace the external handle and all will be well, like my old falcon, replaced it and what do you know it did jack sh*t and you nearly need to stand on a box to lift the handle high enough to open the...

Just rang them doesn't have them, can anyone help as to where you might get these quarter glass rubbers?

Will the rubbers from a 620 ute quarter glass fit the D21? found some on ebay if they do. Also same guy does the inner and outer window seals as a set.

I worked it out........ they clip on

Anyone know how to remove the inner door handles? On all other cars I have done this there is normally a screw holding in the surround but not on the Navara.??

31 x 10.5 R15 will fit with no mods required on a standard D21 Diesel trayback ute. Not much clearance on the rear of the front guards though.

Could only get an 82C thermostat, now runs about a quarter consistantly.

Doesn't anyone know the answer to this or was it just a dumb question ???

Is that running temp or thermostat opening temp?

Hi have just bought a 2.7 4wd trayback and noticed it runs cold. On the highway the temp doesn't go above 1/4 and in the suburbs the gauge barely moves at all. Im thinking this way to cold for a diesel to operate at optimum and most likely its missing a thermostat. Appreciate any feedback

If I do a 2" body lift on a 95 Navara 4wd tray back diesel is there anything else that has to be done with it? (brake lines, drive shafts etc) or is it as simple as buying a kit and installing the spacers ?

Forgot to ask do they need to be specifically off a Navara? I am reading a lot about offsets in these pages and don't want to end up with something that wont fit.

Cheers Gonzo, agree re the road tyres but have seen a few holed in the side wall by sticks as well. Great forum you guys have here.
