From the info I've found on the net, it's seams hd torsion bars will make the ride really stiff with d22's with no extra weight-winch,steel bullbar etc

It's a 2003 with 180000. So how do you know when they are no good? :)

I was hoping to reindex the factory torsion bars as I don't think I really need heavy duty bars.

As in when I get under the car and sight them I can see the torsion bars are not completely straight. Not sure if it's normal for that to happen or if the are stuffed.

Hey guys just wondering if it's normal for the factory torsion bars to twist/warp, or should I replace them? I'm about to fit an efs 45mm lift kit but keep the factory torsion bar as I have an alloy bullbar. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
