Hey guys I want my 550 to have a better exhaust note. Today I unbolted the movement flange between the cat and 1st muffler. It sounded ok. I was wondering if I went to get a pipe straight through from that flange to the back of the car. Would it cause fault codes?? Would it void warranty...

It is the oil recommended from nissan. Its a nissin brand oil.

Is this info for the 4cly 2.5lt or the 3lt v6?

mine done the same thing after replacing the battery. stopped working on auto up. it must of reset itself after a few days cause its ok now.

hey thanks. Stock standard motor. No egr block or catch can. I had a 3lt patrol that i installed a catch can on but when I done the egr block it started to create crazy boost like 30+psi where before max was 21psi. So I took it out and after that I was to worried to modify nissan motors.

Hey guys, I did try a search on the subject 1st, but all I want to know is should I be servicing the motor on the 550 every 5000km? At the moment I take it to the mechanic every 10 000kms. The car never goes off road, never tows large loads. Only about 1 ton. Thoughts?? Thanks Berndty

Mine done the same. Nissan replaced the egr and gaskets. Good as gold now. Faulted at 3500 km now it's a 11500 km.

Yeh I'm thinking 2 xgt and a light bar in the middle now. I just have to use the spotlights because I have purchased them already. Can't put spotties on roll bar. It won't fit in shed if I do. Thanks berndty
