hello all, just a quick question but what are people using for speakers in the rear doors and what spacers also? not too keen on putting speakers in front of the factory grill like some people have, what to keep it looking stock as much as i can for now, also not too worried about speaker cable...

hey mate, don't worry about everything in the service book, it's just a book that nissan uses for all their cars that they make instead of making a whole bunch of different ones, just the normal nissan cost cutting, you'll notice it also said things about taxi use and lpg, which our nav's don't...

haha that's alright, rule of thumb is that if your going to do a clutch you change the rear main at the same time..... food for thought, let us know how you go! :cheers!:

one thing often over looked is the rear main seal on the engine, it's very likely that this could be leaking ever so slighty during your trip (three hours of driving with no real clutch use) and when you go to use it it's slipping and then grabbing and shuddering because of the film of oil...

eh not so much i don't think, expect to see alot more ads on tv for genuine servicing and all that but not so much new cars, they can't really put the price up because a) alot of people already have their orders placed, and b) people will just go to another manufacturer.... holden, ford, that...

i don't think nissan has completely stopped EVERYTHING, however most of their stuff would be either shut down or rationed (power, water) it's the same with toyota, they have actually cancelled every april order and are using this month to try and catch up on march, over 10,000 cars were suppost...

hey brightspark, i don't know much about these chips but from what i can understand they just trick the ecu into thinking there's not enough fuel going into the engine and keeps the injectors open longer, there is no why they can change the fuel pressure in both a common rail and non common rail...

hahaha fair enough:P i'm more just looking for the normal st-r seats with a bit more bolster in them, i find myself sliding around in them a bit (i'm not the biggest of blokes out there 5'11" and 70kg's) and wouldn't mind that bit of extra support.... i'm sure the physical mounting of them...

just a quick tought but is it possible to make a pair of 98 wrx seats fit? obviously i would need to modify/make up some new rails or maybe fit the seats to the d22 rails? just trying to figure out if they can sit low enough, otherwise they will look just like oem with the black and grey...

solid d22 Take a look at the short bit of hose that goes across the rocker cover, the clamps that go on it rubbed through and caused a noise like how you are decribing. Otherwise check the one on the side of the motor coming from the turbo for the same. Hope this is of some help...
