Hi I’m new to this group but I joined this group to find out if a yd25 will mount the same as the td25 as the td25 and td27 are hard to find here I’m doing this for my dad as his Ute was stolen and they cooked the motor and it was his pride and joy and I want to get it going again for him

i have no idea how different the mounting is. but i think thats the easier part. i think wiring the ecu, sensors, somehow fitting the dash unless you can get new gauges that read canbus etc.

i think it would be far easier to find a td27 or qd32, even if you have to import one. afaik they still make the td27 in china.

So the qd32 will mount up to the td25 trans and engine mounts

afaik yes. i just can't remember what bell housing to use and which mounts. i think there is a write up somewhere on it.

an'88 i assume is a D21. just make sure its an td25 not an sd25.

It’s a 1988 Nissan Navara td25 but every Time I look up anything it’s always the d22 and about the td42 which is to big for my dads Ute
