Hi, I'm chasing a factory alloy rim 16" for my 07 stx, I'm currently located in Echuca, so pickup within 100k would be good.

Not sure on that 1, have left my Navara with battery disconnected for 3 months without any problems..

I have had cars stored for long periods before, with mixed results, here's what I would do: thoroughly wash and polish it, get a good quality car cover, put it up on jack stands, wind the windows down a half inch,remove the battery ( make sure you disconnect the bonnet catch on the Navara. )...

That's been my experience too, vastly improved power and drivability especially when towing, but no change to fuel economy figures. Given that most if not all chip manufacturers claim improved fuel figures as part of their sell, I don't know where they come up with that..

+1 for everything that Tony just said, I tow a 2.8t van at 100kph cruising about 2100rpm in o/d with no problems at all. My theory is that smarter men than me designed the AUTOMATIC transmission and the electronics that control it.

Like here, there is a fair bit of B/S attached to the whole native thing, did actually buy some jewellery from people making it ( well assembling it ) on the roadside, and a couple of pottery pieces, that seemed genuine. Tend to shy away from over commercial *****.

As you're in SA, take it to pickles, if they don't like the look of it for the regular auction, they might suggest putting it through the damaged car auction.Guilt free unloading that way, just remember it's a buyer beware world.

do what the car yards/detailers do mate up and over with the chassis black, are you sure the unsealed rd wasn't a beach? Closer look at the pics, that is salt damage IMHO, and I've seen plenty, Get it professionally detailed and flick it through the auctions, only way to go.

Sadly, the boat isn't mine , just retrieving it for a mate who can't retrieve on that ramp with his Prado, (drags it's arse too much.)
