Hey fellas,(I'm new to the forum) I've had this 05, stx auto, now for 2 years. No problem until... Limp mode about 3 months back. Had a local check it and reset it. All good for about 3 weeks until it started again. I read about reset which I did myself ... Turn on wait 3 sec... Etc. done it! No more limp mode. Error code;0000. Now idles a lil rough and sometimes stalls at lights or when stopped just idling. I know you guys have been around for a while so any positive input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... my 2 cents would be based on similar with my old nissan pulsar n16. petrol v diesel i know but it might help!!
Mine turned out to be the cam angle sensor had packed it in. it got hot one day and it started doing similar to yours ( i cleared the codes myself a few times). replaced the cam sensors (there were 2 in mine) and it ran perfect again.
