Looking to put a 3" lift on my '11 D22. I've sourced a really good kit that comes with everything I need including control arms, brake lines etc etc, but I'm concerned about stress on my CV joints. Has anyone performed a 3" lift on their D22 or know anything about problems with the CV joints after its been done???

I've thought about a diff drop, but would prefer to leave it alone (personal preference) I heard after a while the CV's get a bit worn and sloppy and need replacing often. How long you had the 3" in your rig mate? Also, ya reckon I'd get a set of 33's underneath her after the lift? Cheers fellas.

The cv's only turn when 4 hi or 4 lo or the free hubs are in lock position so this means most of the time they don't do any work, I imagine because of that they should last for quite a while even though they do have more stress from the angle.
