Hey all,
Just pulled the seized turbo from the Nav. Everything I read says to remove stone guards, remove cat, remove wheel arch liner, drop engine oil and coolant. I did none of this. Used some hose clamping tools and removed it all from the engine bay. Some long socket extension bars and a few different wobbly bits made it easy.
I haven't completely disassembled it, theres no play in the shaft, just very very stiff turning it. I am unsure where this one comes from, I doubt it's genuine but might be worth rebuilding if the shaft is good. Maybe buy a new one and rebuild this as a spare?
I have no experience with these so any advice would be great.
Cheers
