Long range fuel tanks

Hi everyone.

I have the chance for a long range fuel tank, but it's from a Spain 2007 2.5 diesel. Will this fit my 2011 STX550 (3L V6)? Asking here first if anyone can help.

It appears the fuel tank assembly part numbers are the same for the YD25 and V9X engine but make your own checks.
