Do i require new torsion bars?

The misses is buying me a steel bull bar for chrissy and was wondering if i dont change torsion bars over to HD ones, will this cause any dramas?

You should be fine mate. But if you're going to fit a winch you should replace them

You can try just winding them up to adjust to the new weight. Just measure your centre of your wheel to the guard so you can match the heights back up once you put the steel bar on, then you wont have to get a wheel alignment as the suspension geometry will be the same. If they start to sag then you can always buy HD ones later, but I would stick with the stock ones first and get the most life out of them you can.
