As far as I'm aware it's a normal-threaded bolt. I assume that Nissan hired the Incredible Hulk and gave him a spanner.

a min 600mm breaker bar should be in everyones tool kit, especially with cars like ours getting up in years!Ok all back together except under plate and lower fan shroud! Was a mission.

Tools can be expensive mate, There are certain ones you shouldn't really skimp on to be honest. A breaker bar? Supercheap Auto and the cheapest one will do the job for most home DIY! no need to splurge on that unless you're using it a fair bit.Hey, yes I agree.
