So we have a 2019 Navara with just 30k on clock.

We have owned since new and regardless of driving style have regular DPF issues which so far have been resolved by the garage.

Now the truck is in for an oil service and DPF light again. They are doing a forced regen and although tried to say they would charge I argued the case.

They have also now just said the Fuel pump is leaking and intercooler pipe is leaking oil.

Not happy being given a £2500 bill. I have asked garage to raise with customer care and I also have a few questions:

1) The DPF is a continual pain in the a%# regardless of the amount of motorway driving we still get this with half a dozen smaller journeys in the cold. I noticed the case against JLR about the DPFs and wondered if there’s likely to be a case about Navara my understanding is due to length of Navara and the DPF being at the back it fails to get hot enough - although I may be wrong here being no mechanic. If it is the case then surely this is a significant design fault.
2) For a vehicle hardly used for the fuel pump and intercooler pipe to go within 5 years and 30k surely this is not normal. My feeling is due to the number of regens this has caused the deterioration. Being out of warranty by 3 months how likely is it Nissan will cover this?

Thanks it’s such a shame but will be looking to dispose of truck once this has been sorted.
