As stated, went wheeling on the weekend with a few mates. There was a maroon colarado and a silver '09 D40 and neither experienced what mine has.
We went through quite a bit of mud. It was gernied off yesterday and detailed this morning only to have the detailer come and grab me and show me the problem. It appears as though the clear coat has started coming off the car wherever the mud had been on it and gone back to a matte finish. Its dotted all over the car and looks bloody terrible. Not neither of the other two cars had this problem. One is at work with me today and was not even washed yesterday. We washed a bit off it and the same problem is not evident.
Now I'm not happy to say the least but how have people gone about approaching dealers with paint problems in the past? I'm pretty sure this isnt the first time D40's have had paint problems. My previous D40 had been in exacty the same mud and did not turn out like this one...
