Hey guys, I have a D40 Stx 2006, just had auto gear box replaced as old one shit itself, done about 300 km to get home n now car won't start. I turn key to start it and the radiator fan comes on for some reason n that's all it does, won't turn over or anything. Wondering if anyone else has had...

I had it rebuilt by diesel specialists, but before doing so I bought a cheap eBay turbo as it was my turbo that stuffed up, later realised my engine was buggered too. Company that rebuilt my engine say that the cause of lack of power could be from the cheap turbo, could this be possible?

Yeh mate I have put 3500kms on it so I'm thinking its run in. Valve timing has been checked Is it normal for it not to blow black smoke when u give it a flogging, as I know most diesel do.

To thin possibilitys out. exaust is not blocked, making correct boost and injector pump timing is correct.
