I might have a look at the back of the factory h/u and see if there's 6 pairs of speaker wires. This would indicate the tweeters are driven directly from the h/u...which is not typical (?) The wiring diagram for my aftermarket speakers has it the way you described - primary signal from h/u goes...

I can't answer all your questions, but I can share some info from my Nav. I usually drive it with the Torque App running and various live data on my phone, including boost. It's a 2008 VSK YD25 M/T 4x4. - Zero or slightly negative boost pressure at idle is normal. Remember boost is not intake...

Spring loaded pressure cap goes on the plastic header tank. Non-spring (rubber washer) cap goes on top of the radiator.

Hmm... might be unrelated problems? Maybe the inner cam chain has been like that for a while and the outer chain has been doing the heavy lifting? And the head gasket failed separately? Has the motor been running well lately? Anything strange or different leading up to this?

I tried that and I couldn't stop it turning. But turn the engine off and it spins freely for quite a few seconds. Conflicting results. Go figure. 😄 I put quite a bit more oil in the clutch today, but haven't road tested it yet...

Yeah that's what I thought too...because it makes sense. And mine was/is spinning-on a bit at shut-down. But if you do too much googling & foruming (like I have) you can find arguments for/against that test. Some say they run-on after shut-down any time...? Would anyone mind doing a shut-down...

Anyone tackled the rocker cover / injector oil seals? I have two injector tops that are covered in crap....and two clean ones (see attached photos). The FSM shows a replaceable oil seal for the HP line side entry. But there's no seal shown for the top of the injector and rocker cover?

Nice work mate. It's a big job for sure. Did you remove much of the front of the ute? Like the small sub-frames that support the radiator, bull bar, bumper etc...? Having them out of the way might make the angle-of-attack better when re-inserting the donk...?
