    Oil leak

As Old Tony suggests have a look at the outlet on the valve cover for the PCV. You can see the hose clamp on it in your first photo. The other thing it might be is the top injector seal on No. 4. I've had that issue before and yours is looking a bit suspucious. With the engine running you may...

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

Well I'm pleased my little screenshot video was helpful and got you heading in the right direction. Report back to this thread once you've done the keys as it's handy information. We know the AP200 does the D40 (Thai built) and hopefully you'll find the same with the NP300. For interest after...

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

I refreshed my memory doing keys with the AP200 on the Thai built 2011 D40 and did a screenshot video of the menu steps. Note there's a sub menu called NATS (Nissan Anti Theft System) in the Nissan module so that's what I have to go into. I went right up to the Erase keys sub menu then cancelled...

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

I thought this part of the table was relevant and I can see it's the same for my Thai D40 2011 as it is for the NP300. The abbreviations seem to imply erasing and registering keys in the BCM. Tomorrow I'll connect my AP200 and let it update to the latest software and have a look at the IMMO...

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

When I check the vehicle coverage on the Autel website it suggests the AP200 will do the IMMO/Keys for the NP300 https://www.auteltech.com/vehicle-coverage/coverage2

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

Phillip it's been a few years since I did my key however that screenshot doesn't seem familiar ... the software's probably been updated since I last used it for the keys. I found a couple of YT videos that explained it pretty well.

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

Yes that's correct ... you reprogram all keys. Once you're in the programming mode you can have ten keys and program them all. It works well. For information this is where I bought my replacement key. Locksmiths wanted about $200 for the same thing and Nissan was a lot more. I took my original...

    Programming a New Key 2011 D40

I bought one of these for about $AUD100 and it programs keys and injectors. I used it on my 2011 D40 Navara to program a new key I purchased on Aliexpress. https://www.autel.com/mk1/3262.jhtml

    Anyone have the boost pressure?

When I have Torque running the boost usually peaks around 18 psi to 19 psi. Occasionally it will get to about 21 psi.

Upper Ball Joints for D40 2009 Spanish Model

You can purchase UCA ball joints for Spanish and Thai D40's. I purchased 25mm extended UCA ball joints and installed myself on my Thai D40. You need a ball joint press to push the old ones out and the new one's in. The press tool is available for about $70 on eBay. My understanding is the...

    Loose Discs

Yes it is, Bolting the wheel into place also clamps the disc to the hub.

    Dual battery setup

C I can't see an issue with your proposal. I have a friend who has two AGM batteries of about that size (100-120 Ah) connected in parallel in a 2021 Mercedes Sprinter motor home. I have two low profile AGM 45Ah batteries connected in parallel to give me a 90Ah battery pack.

Transmission oil for manual 2012 d40

The oil manufacturers have lube guides on their websites. You don't say where you're from but here's an example for the Australian oil brand Penrite: https://penriteoil.com.au/product-selector#/ Here's the Shell Lube Match...

    Replacing Ignition on D40 Navara

The IMMO, Key, ECU and BCM are linked. If you replace any one of them then the key has to be re-coded to link them all together again. Replacing the ignition barrel that has a new key won't work for you. You'll be able to turn the ignition on but the IMMO light will flash on the dash. The car...

Stock navara upgrade for better off roading

The typical suspension lift has been great for my D40 ... mines 40mm. I also put 235/85R16 all terrain tyres on the standard 16" x 7" rims which gave me about 10mm extra diff clearance so my roof is about 50mm higher than standard. I've done the Canning Stock Route with this set up and had no...

    Tapping noise in D40 Navara

Sounds like a failing alternator over run pulley. Loosen the serpentine belt so the crank pulley spins without driving the belt. Run the engine for a few moments and see if the noise has gone.

    Malaysian D40 build country

Considering Nissan build Navara's next door in Thailand it's a reasonable assumption Malaysia's D40's come from there. https://www.carlist.my/cars-for-sale/nissan/navara/2-5-le/malaysia When you view the listings they look like Thai built ... radio aerial on LH fender in front of the...
